MOSI’s Celebrated Artist for August, Jana Russon, rose to a soft yellow splendor, grabbed her camera instead of her coffee, and photographed “Buttermilk Sky.”
The photo was taken as a straight photo, no artsy settings on the camera, no manipulation in the computer. Then the image was printed on metallic paper to give a depth to the photo at different angles. Russon’s photo will be displayed in the window of the Kirksville Arts Association at 117 S. Franklin St., Kirksville.
