There was good attendance at the new location (the Adair County Annex), several pieces of art were presented for the members to vote on for Celebrated Artist, an amendment to the By-Laws was passed, and discussion of next year’s Fundraiser was confirmative. Read the minutes for all details.
The members talk and discuss ideas before the meeting begins.
Judy Harris gives a presentation about the Horse as Art, through the Ages.
Of the 7 or 8 pieces of art submitted, the members voted this wooden clock designed and burned by Amber Corbit to be the Celebrated Art. Here is Amber with her art. This clock will be hanging in the corner window of Kirksville Arts Association until our next quarterly meeting, September 10. Good job, Amber.
