The reception for MOSI’s fundraiser “Decorated Chairs” was a swimming success. Each and every chair was sold by silent auction.
We thank all the supporters of this project, all the artists who painted a unique design, the builder of the chairs and Kirksville Arts Association for their display space, and the art buyers. Thanks for participating.
During the same reception MOSI president, Colleen Wagner, revealed the award winners of the judged spring exhibition.
The judge, Debra Scoggin-Meyers, art instructor from Culver-Stockton College, used the three C’s to judge the pieces – creativity, composition, and craftsmanship.
The awards are as follows:
