Every meeting greets more local artists. This evening there was an artist from Memphis, and another one from Hannibal.
Wynne Wilber gave a demonstration on painting porcelain, which now needs to be fired. Here are a few pictures of her presentation.

Then we voted for the Art of the Month. George Barlow took the winning photograph of birds flying thru the trees. Go down to Kirksville Arts Association (KAA) and look in the window to see his picture (© Dave Carter).
George Barlow was selected by the MOSI Art Guild members as April’s Artist of the Month. He started in photography at the age of eighteen but just recently started working in digital. George feels that digital photography has expanded his flexibility and that it is an excellent learning tool. The winning photo is titled “Migration.” He is available for commission work.
