Last Thursday at the monthly MOSI meeting, Erma Auxter presented a demonstration of stroke-work in acrylic. She showed many items that are traditionally painted in this style.
Here Erma shows the technique of having two colors on your brush stroke.
The new Artist of the Month is Judy Harris whose painting of a colt “Got an Itch” received the most votes.
They announced an Art Walk downtown on June 6, 2014 from 5–7 p.m. June 6 also kicks off the traditional Summer on the Square at 7 p.m.
