MOSI Third Annual (Spring 2016) Exhibit
May 12- July 4 at the Kirksville Arts Association
Call for Entries
The MOSI Art Guild Executive Committee would like to invite you to participate in a group exhibit that will feature MOSI members from the region. Each member may submit up to four (4) artworks and is guaranteed at least two (2) entries in the show, more if space will accommodate. There will be an entrance fee of $10 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry.
The exhibition will run May 12-July 4, 2016, at the Kirksville Arts Association (KAA), 117 S. Franklin St., Kirksville, MO. Artwork should be delivered on Monday, May 9th, from 9 a.m.–noon at the KAA gallery. The Opening Reception will be held on Thursday, May 19th from 5:30–7:00 p.m. where awards will be presented. All artists are encouraged to attend.
Entries will not be juried however, the show will be judged for awards by Sandra Eccles—painter, muralist, sculptor and teacher—from Canton, MO.
Sandra Eccles received her Bachelor of Art Education from Truman State University. She taught K-12 art classes for 23 years, treating every child as an artist worthy of expressing themselves. Throughout her teaching career, Sandy gave workshops and exhibited around the country including regionally at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Bluestem Missouri Crafts in Columbia, and Fort Madison Art Center in Iowa. She also has been featured in one woman shows and has created numerous murals in northeast Missouri.
Artwork shall be picked up Tuesday, July 5th from 9 a.m.–noon. If you are unable to pick up your artwork during this time, you are responsible for making arrangements for someone else to do so and, to notify the show coordinator (listed below) who will be picking up your artwork.
