The MOSI Art Guild’s Third Annual Spring Exhibition is in progress now. The opening reception was held at the Kirksville Arts Association (KAA) on Thursday, May 19, 2016.
Colleen Wagner and Debbie Johnson take a turn at the greeting table in the lobby, looking for new members and encouraging attendees to sign up for one of our 2016 workshops.
Jana Russon accompanied the reception with her mandolin, while three MOSI embers took up the singing—Erma Auxter, Anna Dabney, and Judy S?.
KAA, with some MOSI assistance, put on a wonderful food and wine presentation for the reception.
Here we have Best of Show winner, Anna Dabney, celebrating with her mother, Erma Auxter, in front of her winning painting, “Old Man Coal Miner.”
There were several 3-dimensional entries. Here is the first prize metal sculpture by Denise Hilton, “Who Knows.” We also see pottery by Joanna Marshall and Darrell Williams, and pin art by Debbie Johnson.

Mary Ann Farmer won an Honorable Mention for “Door,” but her favorite is the flamingos she painted.
Darrell Williams won first prize for this painting, “John 10:10.”
