There was good attendance at the MOSI meeting.
Colleen Wagner currently has an exhibit at the Kirksville Arts Association gallery, with a reception Friday from 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Jana Russon presented a projected demonstration of how to use the new MOSI tab at the top of the Kirksville Arts Association (KAA) website. Then she showed a few steps in altering, combining, and adjusting digital images. Her Beginning Photo Editing 4-week workshop at KAA started May 14, 2014.
Dave Carter will be moving, because of his wife’s new job in Cape Girardeau. He was recognized for his work with our group. We will miss Dave, who has been a vital part of the development of MOSI Art Guild. Good Luck, Dave.
Gigi Wahba will be our new Vice President, George Barlow will be our new event photographer, and Maureen McHale will be our new publicity person.
Awards were given to those who were instrumental in organizing and helping with the spring art show at Alliant Bank: Amber Corbett, Gigi Wahba, Carla Palermo, Meg Sorhus, and Ann, who gave a report on the success of the show.
Carla Palermo was voted Artist of the Month, from eight entries, with her outdoor floral oil painting.
